Christchurch sits beside genuinely teachable surf: the long, gradual banks of the city's eastern beaches suit first-timers, and sheltered corners handle junior groups. Yet no Canterbury camp destination offers learn-to-surf, and no surf school in the region publishes school-grade safety documentation. We do both.
