Booking terms

These terms cover school and group bookings made through schoolsurf.co.nz with Aotearoa Surf.

Proposals and confirmation

Proposal Documents are itemised and valid for 30 days. A booking is confirmed when we receive your signed Proposal Agreement.

Numbers and changes

Final student numbers are confirmed with you in the lead-up to the trip, and we accommodate reasonable changes because school attendance moves. Significant increases are subject to capacity and ratio requirements.

Weather and conditions

If our documented conditions assessment rules the session unsafe, we offer the backup location, a beach-based program, or a free reschedule. Weather cancellations initiated by us never forfeit your deposit.

School cancellations

Cancellation terms are stated in your Proposal Document.

Safety and responsibilities

Responsibilities are set out in the Proposal Agreement: we deliver the activity under our documented safety management system; the school retains pastoral care and its overall EOTC duty. Full details on the Safety & EOTC page.
