School surf programs in Northland
Mangawhai is where our camps live: the overnight camp base, the Mangawhai Surf Lodge and our home surf beach. Day programs run the length of the Northland coast, from Langs Beach to Ahipara.
The beaches
Mangawhai and the Northland coast
Mangawhai Heads gives us a surf beach, a sheltered estuary and Picnic Bay within walking distance of each other, which is why the camps live here: there is a safe, teachable option in almost any conditions. Day programs also run at beaches along the coast.
